/featuresIs Perplexity naming youwhen buyers ask?
We ask Perplexity the twelve questions your buyers ask, live, through the Sonar API, which searches by default and returns its citations with every answer. You see whether you're named, whether you're cited, which sources the answers rest on — and then we place you on them.
How the Perplexity check works.
Perplexity, asked live
Every question runs against the Sonar API, which searches by default and returns its citations with every answer. The answer, the model, and every cited source are kept in full.
The method line on the report says exactly how the engine was called. A failed call is counted as failed, never as 'not named'.
Named
Your product appears in Perplexity's answer — by name or a known alias. Counted per question; the report shows named in N of the questions asked.
Cited
Your site is one of the sources Perplexity's answer rests on. Rarer than named, and worth more: a cited page is quoted, not summarised.
The sources that leave you out
Every source Perplexity cited in an answer that named a rival and not you: the host, the page, how often. Those pages are the work order.
Weekly, not daily
The free re-check runs weekly, on the weekday of your first check. Paid runs are weekly too, with two samples per question for a steadier read.
A daily reading of a stochastic engine is noise you'd pay for.
Then the placement
Perplexity is one of four engines in the check. What moves the answer is the same everywhere: being on the sources it cites. That's the work, and it starts the day you say run it.
Perplexity joins the free check the day its key is in place; the report always says which engines answered.
Beyond Perplexity.The whole operator.
Trackers surface the gap and stop. This is one loop — find, produce, place, verify — with the memo on Monday and one decision at a time.
Questions, answered plainly.
No. The search-grounded API endpoint, called live with the buyer's question and the grounding switched on. Vendors don't promise the app matches the API; we say which one we asked, every time.
Check your product first. It's free, and it's the whole pitch.
Sixty seconds. Four engines. Who they name instead of you, and the work order to change it.
